Welcome to the Department of Assessment and Accountability webpage for Bibb County Schools.
The department provides for the administration and analysis of all standardized tests required by federal and state law with any others determined by the school system. We provide mandatory training to all school test coordinators on the testing program and protocols. The Department of Assessment and Accountability monitors system progress toward academic goals and assists all departments and schools, through the utilization of data, in continuously improving our program of instruction. The department, in conjunction with Teaching and Learning, helps assess each school’s progress towards AYP compliance with the NO Child Left Behind Act, GA House Bill 1187 and GA House Bill 656. The department is also responsible for the accurate reporting of all student data to the Georgia Department of Education. |
