Dr. Kilcrease earned her doctorate in Administration and Supervision from Argosy University. She is certified in Leadership, Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Gifted, Teacher Support Specialist and ESOL.

She began her career in education as a teacher at Ballard-Hudson Middle School from 1993 to 1999. Dr. Kilcrease then moved into leadership positions, becoming assistant principal at Carter Elementary, Principal of Burdell-Hunt Magnet School and then Principal of Miller Magnet Middle School. Dr. Kilcrease only left the District for three years to serve Peach County Public Schools as Director of School Improvement.
